FOUNDER
I’m Sarah Jones and I founded Red Apple Ventures as I am passionate about seeing founders and businesses thrive and succeed, and any help I can provide along the way, I will do. Consumer Goods is a small industry, built on reputations and relationships.
My experience includes working within M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions), being responsible for writing the M&A strategy and advising at board level of both acquisitions and divestments; as well as working as a COO for Gu Puds which involved writing the strategy and more importantly, getting teams pulling together in the same direction.
Passionate about entrepreneurship I’ve also set up and run, from scratch, a side business within the SaaS space and now focussing on one within the Wellbeing for Teachers space. This helps me relate to other business owners and common challenges from resourcing to prioritisation.
My more recent (and proudest) ‘Innovation’ that I have incubated is my son! He is now 12 months old and pivots way more than any business I have been involved in….

Trustee at Tove Learning Trust (Multi Academy Trust with 14 schools under the Trust)
I love keeping active and have done events such as Triathlons and Tough Runner. I like to maintain a healthy lifestyle as I find it can be rewarding as well as a good social activity. I have recently turned my hand to golf (or attempting to at least!)

We are an independent firm primarily offering consultancy services and small scale investments within the consumer goods space – but as every business is different, we approach each new challenge differently. From that network you can expect everything; from industry specialists, private office funding, to angel investors that have a wealth of experience within FMCG. For the right company, we can be available for NED roles too.
